Grammar school rankings, your way.
Every grammar school we cover, ranked on the measures that matter — and sortable by any of them. Click a column to re-rank by GCSE, A-level, university destinations or Ofsted, then tick up to four schools to compare them side by side.
How the ranking works
The Score column is a single 0–100 figure blended from the most recent published GCSE results: Attainment 8 (70%), the share achieving grade 5+ in English & Maths (20%), and EBacc average point score (10%). Each measure is scaled across all ranked schools and the blend is rescaled so the top school scores 100.
The GCSE rank and A-level rank columns show each school's position against all state-funded schools nationally (not just grammars), straight from the Department for Education tables. Top-third uni % is the share of leavers going to a top-third university; Demand is applications divided by offers for the latest cycle. A dash (—) means the source has not published that figure. Always check a school's own admissions policy before applying.
