Common questions
What's the difference between Pro Pass and Pro Monthly?
Pro Pass is a one-off £25 payment that gives you three months of full access — enough to cover a single admissions round, from open evenings through to offer day. Pro Monthly is a rolling £10/month subscription with no renewals to manage, and adds change-tracking across admissions cycles, unlimited saved addresses and priority data refresh.
Which is cheaper long-term?
Pro Pass is better value if price is your priority — three months for £25 vs £30 on Pro Monthly. Pro Monthly costs a little more but gives you rolling access with no renewals, unlimited saved addresses and change-tracking across admissions cycles. Choose Monthly if you want the flexibility and extra perks without managing a quarterly renewal.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Upgrading from Free or Pro Pass to Pro Monthly is instant and we credit any unused Pro Pass time. Cancelling Pro Monthly keeps your access until the end of the billing month.
Which areas do you cover?
Grammar schools across England. The interactive map shows every published catchment, priority band and parish for the schools we cover — see the map for the full list.
Where does the historical distance data come from?
We combine published last-distance-offered figures from each Local Authority's admissions reports with Freedom of Information requests to fill the gaps. Sources are listed against every data point inside the app.
Do you offer plans for estate agents or schools?
Yes — the Business tier includes our Schools data API, white-label reporting, AI listing captions and a website plugin you can drop into property pages or school sites. Get in touch for volume pricing.
Can I try GrammarBound before paying?
Yes — the free Starter tier is the no-risk way in. It includes the interactive map (limited view), basic eligibility check, Ofsted ratings, admissions guides and key-dates reminders for every school. Upgrade only when you need historical distance data or probability zones.
Is there a refund policy?
Pro Monthly cancels any time — you keep access until the end of the billing month and we won't bill you again. Pro Pass is a one-off purchase and isn't refundable once activated, so we recommend starting with the free Starter tier to see if GrammarBound works for your search.
